Something something coding interviews waah waah

I started this as a reply to one of the many anti-coding-interview articles on here, but it got long so posting on its own. Apologies for it being a bit of a ramble. Note for any of you immediately going to reply and say I’m wrong, that’s fine but don’t expect an answer. We can just agree to disagree.
tl;dr — maybe everyone is just doing coding interviews wrong? Remember, interviews work both ways so if the interview does not seem to make sense…
